parents get into a rush filling out the apps and don't put their full address like if there is an apartment or duplex number they don't put that on the application, then results in a lot of returned mail.

there is an option for this in setup>application>configuration
Update patron address and language on application update
and
Update patron address and language on application import
if you select these it will auto copy the address to the application from the patron information screen.
You can also set up the letters\notifications to use the household address vs. the application address in the setup>reports>letter setup
there is a checkbox for 'use application address' at the top
