From Transylvania County Schools:
On the online menus site, when clicking on the dropdown for allergens, it has all allergens checked and parents need to uncheck the allergens their child might have. From a user standpoint, it would make more sense to have it uncheck all the allergies and show all menu items - when they check an allergy (i.e. "My child has a dairy allergy") it would then cross off the items that have that specific allergen.
I had the same thought when I started working with the online menus. It's counterintuitive. If this change is implemented, It also might be clearer to rename the heading from 'Allergens' to 'Allergies'. The idea being that when they check a box, they're indicating an allergy to that item.
